Pittinger - Charley

Charley Pittinger died March 17th, of lung fever. His death was a shock to the people at this place. He moved from here the first of March to the Foster Fletcher farm, 3 miles north of Elmdale. He was born in June, 1865, and on June 20, 1895, was married to Miss Annie Fletcher. The funeral occurred on the 19th, inst. at Thompson Chapel, Elder Broomfield officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Potts Graveyard. He leaves a wife, a mother, three brothers, three sisters, and a host of friends to mourn his loss. -s
